it is hard sometimes to remember that it is governments that are usually the naughty ones, not the general public. look at my *wonderful* country -- i associate the global hate to my *lovely* president and all the *good* he's done. many people from my country wouldn't hurt a fly, and don't really have any problems with those in foreign countries...they're happy in their small-town worlds, dealing with their private problems. People may elect or have some voice in their leaders or be made to follow their leaders, but (I think) we can't hold all of the leaders' actions to the people themselves.
