I’m not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else…. And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?

I am absolutely beyond words. Nonetheless, it’s only just another has-been, American booze hag, piggy backing on a trendy cause. Am I the only one who could smell the alcohol on her breath?
And I couldn’t have put it better than Film School Rejects:
Here’s karma for you… this lady hasn’t had a bona fide hit since 1998’s Antz, and that was just a voice over role. (For those keeping track, her last live-action hit wasn’t since 1995’s Casino.) With a decade of movies that include starring roles in Catwoman, Basic Instinct 2 and Cold Creek Manor, Stone probably should start making her own Earl Hickey list and paying back karma to set her career straight.
For those of us who are actually tying to build bridges and make progress, those of us who actually live here, her words induce nausea.

I, also, am amazed at the mob mentality a bunch of people have taken on as a result of the Tibetan riots. Tibet has been an autonomous region of China’s for 100 years. It’s a little ridiculous to not know anything about the situation and suddenly take up arms with pitchforks and raw hides. People just want something to be pissed off about.
