As I’ve posted before, it’s note worthy that I’ve seen this on many occasions in sprawling Suzhou where growth in the industry parks seem to be swallowing up farmland by he second. Not to mention these are times of record inflation and skyrocketing food prices for the Chinese.
These guys farm any strip of fertile land they can, but not for eco-cred, beautification or any such cause.
