Ice Hazards
What is the obsession with those super slick and shiny paving tiles so often used in China? Since Suzhou and much of China was buried in Snow and Ice last week I have slipped on my ass about 5 times. The most recently, outside one Suzhou Industrial Park’s busiest office buildings, where I slipped in true, “Donald Duck on a bannana skin” style and landed flat on my back in front of bemused onlookers, suit, tie and all.
What I don’t understand is how people get traction in the mens pointy slip-ons or the womans high healed riding boots that are oh so common here?
