Recipe: Hot and Sour Soup RiceAgain Style

I cooked this tonight, not from recipe but fro how I remembered it from restaurants I’ve ordered it from. Natalia gave it the thumbs up.
Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 2-3 red chilis, chopped, with seeds
  • Chopped spring onions
  • 1 large rpe tomato, diced
  • 1.5 cups of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of Chinese brown vinegar
  • 1/3 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 Tsp ground black pepper
  • Salt or MSG
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  1. Heat oil in a sauce pan and fry garlic and ginger and chili until aromatic. Add tomatos and spring onlions and fry until tomatos are soft and juicy.
  2. Add pepper and chicken broth and pepper and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar, water and soy sauce and simmer for 5 minutes
  4. Crack two eggs into the soup and stir through
  5. Add corn starch and stir through to thicken slightly.Try adding Tofu or noodles!
