Taiwanese plan to skirt Olympics flag ban

Tuesday’s United Daily News reports that fans plan to wave the Myanmar flag because, like the Taiwan flag, it features a blue star-studded square on the upper left corner of a red backdrop.

Wierd: Took a Suzhou taxi today with seat belts.
Passive Aggressive: Mainland officials refuse to refer to Taiwanese athletes as Zhonghua Taipei (ethnic Chinese) instead Zhongguo Taipei implying ownership and governance. Still insist there is no place in sport for politics.
